Mekail Ali Esmer
Mekail Ali Esmer, born on 6 May 1986, is a British strategic defense expert, entrepreneur, and philanthropist of mixed heritage with a distinguished state pedigree.
Raised in a respected family with deep roots in defense and security, Esmer was mentored from an early age by his father, a former head of defense and security affairs. This upbringing instilled in him a lifelong discipline, exceptional strategic foresight, and an unshakable commitment to national and global security.
Educated at Loughborough College and later earning an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, Esmer advanced into high-level government security and strategic intelligence roles before transitioning into the private sector. Over more than two decades, he has established a reputation for expertise in international security, arms procurement, defense technologies, and advanced engineering investments.
As CEO & Founder of Echelon VIII Group, Esmer has retained the company’s legal headquarters in London while relocating its operational command center to Istanbul — a deliberate move reflecting his confidence in Türkiye’s rise as a global defense and technology power.
